This event is now in its 13th year &#8211; \u00a0is taking place countrywide on Thursday, May 28.The initiative has enjoyed unrivalled success as a platform to address the needs and aspirations of Grade 10 to 12 South African girl learners and gives them the opportunity to visit a place of work and to experience the various career opportunities available to them.Cell C is the catalyst and driver but could not have achieved the scale and measure of success without the support from Corporate SA and civil society. The project is supported by the Presidency, which has hosted girl learners since the inaugural event, as well as being endorsed by the Department of Education. Many young girls are unable to make up their minds \u2013 and that\u2019s where the Cell C Take a Girl Child to Work Day comes in.
